    The artist district of Greenville, SC will be having an awesome Christmas art market this coming weekend (Dec. 4 & 5). I will be participating in the Winter Art Market at Art Crossing along the river at the West End. Come down and see me and BUY SOME ART!!! Also, my friends at the Art Bomb and White Whale are having winter art markets as well. They’ll be featuring very affordable artwork. This is the best time to buy some art!!!

    I have some very gifted and talented friends and we got together a couple weeks ago and recorded 5 Christmas songs. We started our new tradition last year and we hope to continue it for years to come. This is our gift to our friends and family and I hope you will enjoy it as well. Click here to download.

    As an artist, discovering something new is a growing difficulty. And sometimes you discover another artist who has discovered something that speaks to you so clearly and you wonder, “why didn’t I think of that?” Bryan Nash Gill, is an artist who creates beautiful relief prints from tree trunks. Reading the age lines on a tree can tell you just as much as reading old archived newspapers. They tell the struggle of the tree through years of growth and famine.     I found this totally awesome site which allows you to sketch anything you want. But it records you drawing it, and allows you to rewind and watch your sketch in fast motion. You can also see other people’s sketches and watch them sketch it. Very cool. Here’s a sketch I did of a dachshund…
