Mikee is an awesome baker that I’ve had the opportunity to work with. Here’s the logo I did for her. If you’re getting married and need to find the best wedding cake designer in the SC, one to knock people’s socks off, she’s the one to pick. I wanted to emphasize the fact that she’s an artist, a designer. She puts a great deal of passion and skill into not only the ingredients but the designing or decorating of the cake. Her spatula is her paint brush.
Dolan Geiman is one of my favorite artists. His 3-D work is incredibly inspiring to me. The amount of detail is incredible. Here’s a few shots I noticed recently.

Here is a new piece I just hung in my new studio, White Whale Studio & Gallery. It’s simply titled, Ireland. I took this picture while traveling along the north shore of Ireland with my wife, sister, and bro-in-law. It’s one of my favorite pieces I think. But it holds no candle to seeing that valley in person. Breathtaking! I’ll be putting this up on my Etsy store soon.
So I gave you a sneak peak of this earlier with no expectations of finishing it tonight but here it is. It’s definitely a departure from my usual stuff. But a fun experiement. I think it turned out pretty good.
So I’m still pillaging the photos I took while in New York this past summer. This shot is from the roof top where we stayed in the Lower East Side. I thought it might be interesting to show the before and after pics. Just so you could see how much work was done.
I know it seems like long periods of time between posts of personal work. It’s not that I’m on vacation or producing nothing. I’m hard at work everyday but either I don’t have anything interesting or what I’m working on is slow going. So I thought I’d post random screenshots from time to time to give teasers of some projects I’m working on. Here’s the first in the series. This is a sneak peak to a new print I’m working on. It’s completely void of photographs but made entirely of illustrated images. I hope to have it done soon.
Look what my beautiful and very talented wife made me for Valentine’s Day this year! This is a lino cut she made for me after watching me make one. First off, I have to give her props for being able to remember all the steps. And for her creativity. I love the design of the tree and the heart with our initials was such a creative touch. I was definitely blown away when I opened this.
Just completed a new Fusion for Getz Creative. They are phenomenal photographers and asked me to “do my thang” to some of their photos. Who wouldn’t want an engagement pic that looks like this hanging on their wall?
I’ve been very impressed by the work of Kristina Brusa. I know absolutely nothing about her other than her site isn’t in English and her design skills are killer. Her work has been very inspiring. Here’s a few of my favs…
